The West Village Avian Chronicles - Chapter Five: Heron(s), The Great

The weather down here - and pretty much everywhere - has been bananas this season. So, between torrential rain, single digit temps, and an insane amount of work, I admittedly took a brief hiatus from capturing the outside world. But, we've started to see daylight (both literally and figuratively) so I've begun venturing back out there. Happily, so have some of my favorite aves, including these gorgeous "Greats".
