One of the many, many reasons that spring is my favorite season is that all of my beloved feathered friends start pairing off and building their families. Bluebirds, in particular, are such fun to watch. Lucky for me, a precious pair decided to nest in one of the old trees in the pond, so I got to watch them scope out their new home and prepare for the arrival of their progeny. One of the sweetest (and at times funniest) things these little spitfires do is share the fruit of their hunting expeditions with one another.
